Your daily tasks will be 

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems of Yolo Entertainment (YE) to ensure compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements;
  
• Monitor accounting rules and processes and drive improvements as necessary to make sure they are efficient, accurate, and secure;
  
• Close cooperation with the internal audit team to review and improve financial operations, ensuring that audit findings are used as a basis for refining controls and processes;
  
• Review, develop and maintain financial control processes that are appropriate to the YE, securing assets and assessing risks;
  
• Implement financial controls that are closely aligned with other business operations;
  
• Manage project allocations between various projects where splits are necessary;
  
• Assist in ensuring that project P&Ls work across various projects and are recharged where needed;
  
• Support the development of internal accounting software;
  
• Review, develop and implement more effective and/or automated processes in the finance team;
  
• Build and lead a high-performing finance control function, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence;
  
• Act as a senior member of the wider finance team being an advocate for raising standards and sharing knowledge;
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies, staying updated with industry changes and competitors.
  

What we expect from you

• A strong cultural fit by living by the companys core values - fun, fast, fair;
  
• A minimum of 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience, ideally gained in the gaming or technology sectors;
  
• Excellent analytical skills and adeptness at implementing systems and procedures to streamline operations;
  
• Strong strategic thinking and planning skills;
  
• Familiarity with modern business intelligence tools and analytics platforms;
  
• Strong ethical standards and integrity, especially when dealing with financial matters and sensitive information;
  
• Ability to quickly adapt to rapid changes in the market and regulatory landscape, effectively managing time-sensitive projects and responding with agility to new challenges and opportunities;
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional certifications such as CPA/ACCA are highly advantageous.
